Nissan India has updated the Sunny
with minor exterior and interior tweaks. Prices remain unchanged, ranges between INR 7.91 Lakhs – INR 10.89 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
The exterior of the 2017 Sunny can be ordered in a
new Sandstone Brown option, thus increasing the palette to six colours: Pearl
White, Blade Silver, Bronze Grey, Deep Grey, Night Shade and Sandstone Brown.
The car also gains chrome-finished door handles.
Inside, the 2017 Sunny drops the beige and black
dashboard for an all-black colour contrasted by silver garnish across the
cabin. The door cards and fabric upholstery have been made black to match the
dashboard. The top-end XV grade comes standard with features such as
intelligent key, push button start, and safety features including anti-lock
braking (ABS), electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD), brake assist (BA) and
four airbags.
Nissan
continues to offer the option between a 1.5L petrol motor and 1.5L dCi diesel
engine. Both variants come equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard,
while a CVT is optional in the petrol variant.
