The Bajaj Dominar 400 aims to be an everyday bike
for the Indian motorcycle enthusiasts. To make it more user-friendly and wind
blast resistant here is a rendering of a semi-faired version of the vehicle,
the Bajaj Dominar 400F, by Shoeb Kalania.
The fairing on the side and the headlamp region will
lend the rider protection from wind blast. Unlike a fully faired, sports
oriented motorcycle, the Bajaj Dominar 400F can retain its touring
characteristics yet offer a versatile ride.
The 373.3 triple spark, 4-valve, DTS-i mill in the
Bajaj Dominar 400 is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox and gets a slipper clutch.
The engine is derived from the KTM Duke 390 but gets a SOHC layout. It is
capable of producing 35 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 35 Nm of peak
torque at 6,500 rpm.
The Bajaj Dominar 400F, if it meets the light of the
day, can continue with these outputs. A fully faired sports bike though might
see a slightly higher output.
