The Huayra is soon to receive the love it deserves from Pagani in the form of a Nurburgring Edition.

The Italian ace had no trouble in spilling the beans about the Huayra’s production plans, and apparently, they include a limited-edition, track-focused version set to carry the Nurburgring Edition moniker. Only 15 to 25 units will be built, making it one of the rarest supercars ever created.

No additional details are available on this mysterious Huayra, including whether it will be track-exclusive like the Zonda R or not, but expect this rocket to wear a serious aerodynamic kit consisting of a reworked front fascia, a massive rear diffuser and a huge rear wing on the edge of its rear hood. Interior changes will most likely include FIA-compliant racing seats and harnesses, a race-spec steering wheel and even a roll cage.

The Huayra Nurburgring Edition is also set to go on a severe diet, with both the chassis and body to ditch more than just a few pounds. Naturally, the beastly 6.0-liter, V-12 heart powering the wheels by means of 730 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque will become even more potent. Expect 0-60 mph times to drop below the 2.6-second mark and brace yourselves for a lightning-fast Nurburgring lap record.

Nurburgring Edition aside, the source also reveals that Pagani is looking to build 110 Huayra coupes and 110 roadsters.
