The Mahindra XUV500 Sportz
Limited Edition is now for sale in India. Based on the W10 grade, it is priced at INR
16.5 Lakhs for the manual variant and INR 17.56 Lakhs for the automatic variant
(ex-showroom Mumbai).
The Sportz Limited Edition was last seen when the
pre-facelift XUV500 was on sale, featuring exterior cosmetic upgrades more or
less similar to the ones offered in the 2017 XUV500 Sportz Edition. The
exclusive features include sporty bonnet decals, mirror decals, Sportz side
decals, darker alloys with red-painted brake callipers, orange roof rails,
orange door handles, orange inserts on foglamps, and a ‘Sportz’ Badge on the
C-pillar, dashboard and key.
The XUV500 Sportz Edition carries over features from
the W10 grade. Reversing camera with guide lines, offline GPS-guided navigation
on a 7.0-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, USB and iPod connectivity, cruise
control, climate control, tyre pressure monitoring, rain-sensing wipers and
automatic headlights, start-stop button, Mahindra’s Blue Sense system, are some
of the features.
Powering the XUV500 is a 2.2-litre turbodiesel mHawk
140 engine which outputs 140 PS and 330 Nm of torque paired to a 6-speed manual
gearbox or an Aisin-sourced 6-Speed Automatic gearbox. AWD is standard.
