Pricing details of the 2017 Triumph Street Triple
range have been revealed. The flagship Street Triple RS
trim produces 13 percent more torque and 16 percent more power than the
outgoing version.
The 765 cc triple cylinder mill produces 113 PS of
power in the entry level Street Triple S while the Street Triple R gets 118 PS.
The range-topping Street Triple RS produces 123 PS of maximum power. Low ride
height and A2 compliant versions are also available.
The bikes gain a new TFT instrumentation, LED
headlamps, and while the overall design philosophy is not dramatically
different, they look sharper and more purposeful. Other features include ABS,
ride by wire and traction control.
The entry level Triumph Street Triple S has been
priced at GBP 8,000 and will be available from April. The Street Triple R and
its low ride version have been priced at GBP 8,900, and while the former will
be available in May, the latter will hit dealerships only in the month of
August. For the extra 900 quid, one gets Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tyres,
Brembo M4 32 callipers and four riding modes. The low ride version has the seat
height reduced to 780 mm from 825 mm.
The A2 version, based on the Street Triple
S and uses a rebored 660 cc mill will be priced at GBP 7,700 and will be
available in June 2017. The range-topping Triumph Street Triple RS has been
priced at GBP 9,900 and gets an Ohlins rear suspension, five riding modes (one
