Moving to its second generation, the Skoda Kodiaq will adopt a more conventional design to look like a proper SUV. It could look mostly like a VW Tiguan with unique front and rear fascias with a design inspired by the Skoda Vision S concept. The interior would be in line with the Kodiaq.

The second-gen Skoda Yeti will be underpinned by the Volkswagen Group’s MQB platform. The model will have a lot of mechanical commonality with the VW Tiguan and the Seat Ateca.

The 2018 Yeti should to be offered with three- and four-cylinder TSI petrol and four-cylinder TDI diesel engines with displacements ranging from 1.0- to 2.0-litre. 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-cutch should be the transmission choices. An all-wheel drive system would be available in the configurations.
