Moto Guzzi has unveiled the 2017 Moto Guzzi V7 III
Anniversario. The bike will be
available in American dealerships from April 2017. The V7
family gets a modern hemispherical combustion chamber controlled by a Magneti
Marelli ECU with adjustable traction control and the ability to re-calibrate
for different tire sizes.
The Moto Guzzi V7 III Anniversario sources power
from a 744 cc mill which is capable of 52 hp at 6,200 rpm and 60 Nm of peak
torque at 4,900 rpm. The twin-cylinder mill is air cooled and is Euro 4
compliant. The oil pump intake duct is new, as is the related by-pass valve and
piston cooling oil jets that have a flow control and management valve. The alternator
cover is also new, now with built-in exhaust blow-by.
The Moto Guzzi V7 III Anniversario will be limited
to 750 units. The bike gets dedicated graphics characterised by the
prestigious, chromium finished fuel tank that hosts the refined, gold coloured
Moto Guzzi eagle, combined with a brand new genuine leather saddle. The locking
fuel cap in made from billet aluminium, as are the steering yoke risers that
bear the laser incised model serial number.
The brushed aluminium mudguards, the chromium plated
steel rear grab handle and the wheel rims with exclusive polished channels and
grey hubs. The bike gets a new Kayaba shock absorbers with adjustable preload
while the aluminium footpegs are new too. The ground clearance stands at 770
mm.
The 2017 Moto Guzzi V7 III Anniversario gets ABS and
a new Moto Guzzi traction control, both of which can be disengaged. The 2017
Moto Guzzi V7 III Anniversario is priced at US$ 9,990.
