At a Microsoft event in Mumbai, Tata’s new sub-brand
‘Tamo’ has unveiled a 3-door Tamo C-Cube Concept, which showcases the company’s
new ‘advanced structural technology’ that will be used in future Tamo products.
The C-Cube has a short bonnet and swooping
windscreen, characteristic Tata honeycomb directly flanked by angular projector
headlamps with LED daytime running lamps. It gets a prominent
shoulder line along with air-vents on the lower rear fender and sits on large
multi-spoke O.Z. alloy wheels.
We’re not sure that Tamo will put the C-Cube into
production; rather it’s more of a design and technology study concept. What
Tamo will put into production is a mid-engined sportscar, which was teased at
the brand’s announcement on Feb 2. It will be unveiled at the 2017 Geneva Motor
Show and will launch for sale in 2018.
