The UM Renegade Commando will soon be gained a new special edition model. The bike will be called as UM Renegade Commando Mojave and will be launched in October-November 2017.

Paying tribute to the Mojave desert in North America, the cruiser will probably get a cosmetic upgrade. The Mojave desert is famous for its difficult desert trail. At the heart of the machine will be a 279 cc water cooled, single cylinder mill presently doing in the Renegade range. Coupled to a 6-speed gearbox the engine is capable of producing 25 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 21.8 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm.


The UM Renegade Commando is suspended over 41 mm standard telescopic forks up front and twin hydraulic springs in the rear. Brakes include a 280 mm disc in the front and a 130 mm drum in the rear. The fuel tank can store 18 litres of petrol and has a kerb weight of 172 kg.

Colour options for the Renegade Commando include Burgundy, Olive Green and Black Shine. The bike also gets a USB charging slot. The UM Renegade Commando is currently priced at INR 1.64 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Renegade Mojave is expected to be slightly more expensive than the standard trim.
