Harley-Davidson India has announced the prices of
the Harley-Davidson Street Rod 750, with priced at INR 586,000.
Powering the Harley Davidson Street Rod 750 is a 749
cc High Output Revolution X V-twin mill which is capable of producing 62 Nm of
peak torque at 4,000 rpm. Its capable of producing 11 percent more power than
the Street 750 while the torque figures experience a bump of 5 percent. The
engine has been tuned to deliver strongly between 4,000 and 5,000 rpm, with
strong midrange performance that a rider can feel and exploit in real-world
situations.
The Harley Davidson Street Rod 750 also gets a
larger volume air box, new dual 42 mm throttle bodies high-lift camshafts and a
higher volume exhaust muffler. The compression ratio is up to 12.0:1 and the
bike redlines at 9,000 rpm. The chassis has been strengthened while the
suspension system is new. The rear setup includes an external expansion
chamber.
Tyres have been sourced from MRF and include a
120/70 R17 unit up front and a 160/60 R17 unit in the rear. The braking
department includes dual 300 mm disc in the front and ABS as standard. Colour
options include Vivid Black, Charcoal Denim and Olive Gold.
Bookings for the Harley Davidson Street Rod 750 have
commenced and the bike will be on display at dealerships from today. Test rides
will begin on April 21, 2017.
