Honda has launched the 2017 Honda Aviator BSIV in
India, with prices starting at INR 52,077 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Honda Aviator is available in five variants now:
Aviator drum, Aviator disk, Aviator drum (BSIV), Aviator drum alloy (BSIV) and
Aviator disk (BSIV). With the MY2017 update, Honda has also added the Automatic
Headlight On (AHO) feature to the scooter.
The 2017 Honda Aviator measures 1,802 mm in length,
703 mm in width 1,162 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 1,256 mm. It has a
ground clearance of 145 mm and a seat height of 790 mm. The BSIV-compliant 110
cc HET engine produces 8 bhp at 7,000 rpm and 8.94 Nm of torque at
5,500 rpm. The engine is paired to the V-Matic continuously variable
transmission. The tank stores 6 litres of fuel, and there’s 20 litres of
underseat storage space available.
The 2017 Honda Aviator is available in four colours:
Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Pearl Igneous Black and Matt Selene
Silver Metallic. The Pearl Amazing White and Matt Selene Silver
Metallic-finished Aviator gets brown molded seat and a different stylish inner
cover. Key features include 5-spoke alloy wheels, underseat mobile device
charging and 190 mm disc brake.
