Nissan is displaying the 2017 Nissan Micra at the
2017 Geneva Motor Show. The MY2017
updated model is the fifth generation of the car.
The New Nissan Micra features an
evolutionary design and fully embodies the company’s latest design language.
The all-new model measures 3,999 mm in length, 1,743 mm in width and 1,455 mm
in height, meaning that it’s 174 mm longer, 77 mm wider and 55 mm lower
compared to the previous model. The wheelbase measures 2,525 mm, an increment
of 75 mm over the fourth-gen model.
Nissan offers the 2017 Nissan Micra in Europe with
three engines: BR10DE 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, HR09DET
1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and K9K 1.5-litre diesel engine. The
naturally aspirated three-cylinder petrol unit produces 73 hp and 95 Nm
of torque, while the turbocharged three-cylinder petrol unit develops 90
hp and 140 Nm (150 Nm with boost function) of torque. The four-cylinder diesel
engine delivers 90 hp and 220 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual
transmission is standard.
LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, 17-inch
alloy wheels, roof spoiler, electrically 7-inch NissanConnect touchscreen
infotainment system with navigation and Apple CarPlay, 6-speaker Bose Personal
sound system, Lane Departure Prevention, Intelligent Emergency Braking with
pedestrian recognition, Intelligent Around View Monitor, Traffic Sign
Recognition, High Beam Assist and Blind Spot Warning are the equipment
highlights of the 2017 Nissan Micra.
Nissan has confirmed that the 2017 Nissan Micra’s
deliveries will commence today.
