The 2017 Porsche Cayenne range has been bolstered by
the addition of two new Platinum Edition models, building on the standard
specification of the Cayenne S and Cayenne S Diesel variants.
Starting at AUD 137,100 and AUD 142,500 (plus on-road
costs) respectively, the Cayenne S and Cayenne S Diesel Platinum Editions
feature over AUD 12,000 in additional equipment, including eight-way
power-adjustable leather sports seats (front) with Alcantara inserts from the
GTS model. There’s also a panoramic roof, surround camera system, lane change
assist, Porsche Communication Management with Connect Plus, along with the
Porsche crest on all head rests.
The two Platinum Edition Cayennes
are equipped with 21-inch Sport Edition wheels finished in satin Platinum,
along with high-gloss black window surrounds. Additionally, ‘Platinum Edition’
front door sills and an analogue central clock complete the upgrades.
Buyers can have their Cayenne S or Cayenne S Diesel
Platinum Edition in several colours; black, white (both solid), Jet Black,
Mahogany, Purpurite, Carrera White and Rhodium Silver (metallic). Power outputs
remain the same for both models, with the Cayenne S featuring a 420 Hp/550 Nm
twin-turbo six while the Cayenne S Diesel utilises a 385 Hp/850 Nm V8 twin-turbo
diesel.
The Cayenne S Platinum Editions join the Cayenne,
Cayenne Diesel and Cayenne S E-Hybrid Platinum Edition models revealed last
year. Both the Cayenne S and Cayenne S Diesel Platinum Editions are on sale
now, with first deliveries expected from late May.
