The 2017 Volkswagen Passat Alltrack Wolfsburg
Edition is now on sale in Australia, bringing some extra equipment and style to
the German brand’s high-riding family wagon.
The newly added Wolfsburg Edition version of the
Volkswagen Passat Alltrack sees the addition of new 19-inch Albertville alloy
wheels, while the newly added LED
headlights are said to offer a “unique light signature”.
Further visual separation is gifted by Wolfsburg badges
on the outside of the car. Other new kit fitted to the Wolfy includes black
Nappa leather seat upholstery, as well as the brand’s 12.3-inch Active Info
Display dashboard. It’s a standard fit item, and there’s also an automatic
boot-lid.
The Passat Alltrack Wolfsburg Edition remains
powered by the same 2.0-litre turbo diesel four-cylinder engine producing 190 Hp of power and 400 Nm of torque, and it has a six-speed dual-clutch automatic
gearbox and all-wheel drive. Fuel use is claimed at 5.4 litres per 100
kilometres.
The 2017 Volkswagen Passat Alltrack Wolfsburg
Edition is priced at AUD 54,990 plus on-road costs, but VW Australia is selling it
at AUD 54,990 drive-away until 31 March 2017.
The standard Passat Alltrack model remains, and for
2017 it’s priced at AUD 50,790 (but VW is doing it for AUD 49,990 drive-away over the
same promotional period).
