Honda Car India has launched the Honda WR-V for sale in India today. Available in S and VX grades, the WR-V is priced between INR 7.75 Lakhs – INR 9.99 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

Honda WR-V 1.2 i-VTEC Petrol:
  •          Honda WR-V S : INR 7.75 Lakhs
  •          Honda WR-V VX : INR 8.99 Lakhs

Honda WR-V 1.5 i-DTEC Diesel:
  •          Honda WR-V S : INR 8.79 Lakhs
  •          Honda WR-V VX : INR 9.99 Lakhs



The Honda WR-V measures 3,999 mm long, 1,734 mm wide, 1,601 mm high and has a wheelbase of 2,555 mm. Compared to the hatchback it’s based on – the Honda Jazz – the Honda WR-V is 44 mm longer, 40 mm wider and 57 mm taller than the Jazz. It has a more aggressive styling that borrows very little from the Jazz, and comes equipped with 16 inch dual tone alloy wheels, roof rails, LED DRLs, foglamps, blinkers mounted on the ORVMs, and a rear view camera in the top-end VX grade.

Inside, the WR-V VX comes equipped with a 7-inch DIGIPAD infotainment system, automatic climate control, start/stop button, cruise control, round MID, and a segment-first sunroof. The WR-V offers a boot capacity of 363 liters, 9 liters more than the Jazz.


The engine lineup includes a 100 hp 1.5L i-DTEC diesel motor paired with a 6-speed manual and a 1.2L i-VTEC petrol engine mated to a new 5-speed manual gearbox. Honda claims that the petrol and diesel variants can average fuel efficiency figures of 17.5 km/l and 25.5 km/l, respectively.
