Mitsubishi Motor Corporation at the Geneva
Motor Show has introduced the all-new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross. Combining a
sharp coupe stance with an SUV-inspired muscular body.
It gets Mitsubishi’s Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC)
integrated vehicle dynamics control system with brake-activated Active Yaw
Control. The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross gets Smartphone Link Display Audio
system, a Touchpad Controller and Head-Up Display.
Powering the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a new
1.5-litre direct-injection turbocharged petrol engine with a new CVT gearbox
with 8-speed Sport Mode manual override. Also available will be the 2.2-litre
common rail direct-injection turbocharged diesel engine is modified
specifically for Eclipse Cross is fitted with a new 8-speed automatic
transmission.
The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross will get an
electronically-controlled 4WD system that feeds the optimum amount of torque to
the rear wheels depending on the driving situation and the road surface.
Positioned as a C-SUV, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross
will be hitting the UK market in early 2018.
