The 2017 Aprilia SR 150 BSIV has reached India dealerships. The scooter continues with the same design philosophy as the BSIII
model.
Powering the 2017 Aprilia SR150 is the same 150 cc
mill as the Vespa SXL 150. Coupled to a CVT gearbox the 154.8 cc air-cooled
engine is capable of producing 10.4 hp of maximum power at 6,750 rpm and 11.4

The Aprilia SR150 is the country’s first sports scooter and gets 14-inch 120/70
specifications at both ends. Brakes include a 220 mm two piston disc up front
and a 140 mm drum unit in the rear.
The scooter is retailed through the existing Piaggio
network across the country. The Aprilia SR150 gets a twin barrel headlamp and a
dual tone seat. The scooter is suspended over hydraulic telescopic forks up
front and a monoshock in the rear. It also gets an under seat USB to charge a
smartphone.
The 2017 Aprilia SR150 BSIV has a price tag of INR
68,806 for the standard trim and INR 71,923 for the Aprilia SR150 Race (both
prices ex-showroom, Delhi).
