Audi has
launched the 2017 Audi A3 (facelift) in India. It is available in both petrol
and diesel variants spread across two grades: Premium Plus and Technology, and

The A3’s facelifted exterior borrows inspiration
from the latest Audi A4, featuring new LED headlamps, Singleframe grille with
black plastic slats, new bumper design, and LED taillamps with dynamic turn
indicators.
Inside, the design is similar to the outgoing car,
but gains new elements and feature upgrade for a contemporary look. It has a
new leather-wrapped 3-spoke steering wheel, TT-inspired HVAC vents, new MMI
infotainment system with a display that can be retracted and Milano leather
upholstery. The top-end Technology grade comes equipped with reverse parking
camera, Audi Phone Box, GPS-guided navigation, and auto dimming ORVMs.
New to the A3 is a 1.4L TFSI 4-cyl petrol engine
paired with a 7-speed DSG gearbox and Cylinder On-Demand, which produces 150 hp
and 250 Nm. The diesel variant continues with a 2.0L TDI turbodiesel engine
producing 143 hp and 320 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed DSG.
