T
he 2017 Bentley Bentayga Mulliner is now available to order. Powered by the same 608 hp and 900 Nm 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 as the ‘regular’ Bentayga, the Mulliner takes an even more luxurious approach to the interior and finishings of the large SUV.

On the outside, the Mulliner features two-tone paintwork and specific 22-inch ‘Paragon’ wheels. The craftsmanship and attention to detail are second to none, with the wheels each taking nine hours to individually mill from a solid block of aluminium.

To further stand out from the crowd, the ‘B’ logo on the center caps floats upright at speeds of up to 270 km/h. Inside, the bespoke nature of the Mulliner Bentayga is more evident, with the front seats trimmed in a different material to the rear, a tone of dark to light transitioning throughout the car. Even the piano-black trim of the front cabin fades to burr walnut in the rear.

The Mulliner specification sees the four-seat comfort specification applied (where all seats offer electric adjustment, heating, ventilation and massage), and are separated with a console which includes a wine chilling cabinet, and crafted Cumbria Crystal champagne flutes.

Passengers are treated to the 20-speaker 1950-watt Naim audio system, as well as a raft of driver assistance features the position the Mulliner Bentayga at the very peak of the specification tree. You can even tweak the LED puddle lamps to display a personal message, logo or type.

Pricing for the Mulliner Bentayga starts from US$ 633,200, and the model will be produced to order, in limited numbers. The Bentayga is the first vehicle to receive the Mulliner treatment as a production model, but Bentley has committed to a Mulliner specification of every new model, to arrive approximately one year after the initial release.
