The new Chery Tiggo 3X was officially unveiled at Auto China 2016
(2016 Beijing Motor Show) as a sporty variant of the Chery Tiggo 3. The Tiggo
3X measures 4,200 mm in length, 1,760 mm in width, 1,570 mm in height, and has
a wheelbase of 2,555 mm.
It will go on sale in the second half of the year and
be available with only a 106 hp 1.5-litre petrol engine. In early 2017 though,
a more powerful 1.2-litre turbocharged engine will become available.
Chery
Arrizo 5
The Chery Arrizo 5 is a compact sedan positioned between the Chery
Arrizo 3 and Chery Arrizo 7. The Arrizo 5 measures 4,572 mm in length, 1,825 mm
in width and 1,482 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,670 mm.
Initially it
will be available only with a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine that
produces 116 hp and 141 Nm of torque, linked to a 5-speed manual transmission
or a 7-speed continuously variable transmission. A 1.2-litre turbocharged
engine producing 132 hp and 212 Nm of torque and a 1.5-litre turbocharged
engine producing 145 hp and 220 Nm of torque will be available at a later date.
Chery Arrizo 5EV
The Chery Arrizo 5EV is the electric variant of the Chery Arrizo 5.
Chery says that the Arrizo 5EV’s technology is at the leading level in the
industry, claims the company.
Chery Tiggo 7
The new Chery Tiggo 7 that debuted at Auto China 2016 is the
production version of the Chery TX concept and will go on sale in the second
half of the year. It will be powered by a 1.5-litre engine which will be paired
to a 6-speed manual transmission, a continuously variable transmission or a
dual-clutch clutch transmission.
Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV
The Chery Tiggo 7 PHEV is the plug-in variant of the Chery Tiggo 7 crossover.
The Tiggo 7 PHEV is powered by a P2 hybrid power system which consists of power
coupling device, single motor and transmission. Its pure electric driving range
is 50 km and total driving range is 1,000 km. The fuel economy is rated at
45.45 km/l.
