Chevrolet promotes the official launch of the second generation Cruze
in Argentina. Manufactured at
the plant in Santa Fe and is already on sale with prices at R$ 87,600 for 1.4 Turbo Manual, to R$ 106,000 for LTZ Auto Plus.
The new generation of the Chevrolet Cruze, is more spacious, light,
efficient and sophisticated. Equipped
with new technologies including OnStar and a new active safety equipment as
well as a more spacious interior and an optimized aerodynamic design.
This new 4-door sedan will be sold with a 1.4L turbo engine that
delivers 153 Hp at 5000 Rpm and mated to a manual or automatic
6-speed transmission. The new Cruze can accelerate from 0 to
100 km/hin 8.5 seconds.
It will be available in three trim levels: LT, LTZ with manual and
automatic transmission, and a top version of the range LTZ Plus, only in automatic transmission.
The new Cruze is 6.8 cm higher, but 2.5 cm lower than the predecessor. Gives
a more extended and fine appearance. The sleek profile is complemented with
detailed line work in layers on the hood and side panels, contributing to an
overall impression of greater musculature, giving an athletic appearance
improved by a wheelbase that is 2.7 meters.
Other details of Cruze include
halogen headlights and daytime running lights with LED technology, third brake
light mounted on top of the roof line, for a more refined look.
The
interior of New Cruze features soft surfaces and robust built around the
concept of dual cockpit. The adopted materials inside are softer, and banks
have flooring option in synthetic leather. Seats with manual adjustment in four
directions to the driver, and in his directions to the passenger. The rear
seats fold 60/40.
The multifunction steering wheel in leather highlights the
interaction between man and technology through buttons that interact with the
new MyLink system - which allows a simpler and more intuitive interaction with
the new generation of smartphones. There are versions with 7:08 inch screen, mo
flagship model.
Security is one of the most attractive attributes of the new Cruze. It has among
other features, disc brakes with ABS and electronic distribution of braking on
all four wheels, stability and traction control, front airbags for driver and
passenger airbags and side mounted in the front seats, seat belts three points
and headrests on all seats, ISOFIX anchors for child seats.
There are still obstacles for children in the rear doors, warning
placement of seat belts for driver and passenger, automatic locking doors, tire
pressure warning (TPMS) and front and rear fog lights on all versions.
Since the LT version, the new Cruze offers equipment such as
automatic temperature control, adjustable steering column height and depth,
on-board computer, autopilot, rear view camera and rear parking sensors and
others.
The LTZ version adds rear courtesy light inside and double reading,
mirror electro-chromic rearview, access system and keyless start, adjustable
headlight height, rain sensor, direction indicators incorporated in the heated
external mirrors and folding and infotainment system with GPS and voice
recognition.
The LTZ Plus version also offers electric adjustment for the seats of
the driver and starting by remote control.
