Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd has
launched the BSIV compliant Honda Activa i. The scooter gets dual tone colour
options, body colour mirrors and Auto Headlamp On.
The Honda Activa i also gets tubeless tyres, combined
braking system (CBS) with equalizer, 18-litre underseat storage space and
mobile charging socket (optional extra). The compact body also gets trendy
decals.
Displacing 109.19 cc the air cooled mill on the
Activa i is coupled to a V-matic gearbox. The engine is capable of 8 bhp of
maximum power at 7,000 rpm and 8.94 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The
automatic scooter claims a top speed of 83 km/h and has a kerb weight of 103
kg.
Tyres are 10-inch tubeless units of 90/100
specification at both ends. Brakes in the Honda Activa i are 130 mm drum units
at both ends. The fuel tank can store 5.3-litre of petrol while the ground
clearance stands at 165 mm. Colour options include Orchid Purple metallic, Lush
Magenta, Neo Orange Metallic, Black and Imperial Red Metallic.
