The 2017 Hyundai Xcent has started reaching dealerships in India, latest pictures shared on Team-BHP forum have revealed. The fresh images have confirmed the expected new 1.2-litre diesel engine.

Hyundai has given the facelifted Xcent a slightly different front fascia compared to the facelifted Grand i10. The new Hyundai Xcent features a large grille inspired by the 2017 Hyundai Verna‘s grille, horizontal foglamps, revised bumpers, new design alloy wheels, wraparound tail lamps, reshaped bootlid and new chrome bootlid applique on the outside.

The 2017 Hyundai Xcent gets new 7-inch AVN touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, MirrorLink and Voice Recognition, Shark Fin antenna, smartphone holder and alternator management system. Hyundai will offer the new model in E, E+, S, SX and SX (O) grades. Each grade loses many features with the facelift. ABS is no longer standard, while the S grade no longer has driver-seat height adjustment and body side moulding and the SX and SX(O) grades lose out 1GB memory.

The 2017 Hyundai Xcent petrol is expected to continue with the current model’s 1.2-litre Kappa four-cylinder petrol engine. The 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic (petrol-only) should continue as transmission choices.
