The New Astra Daihatsu Ayla facelift has finally launched
with two engines, 1000 cc and 1200 cc. Astra Daihatsu Ayla is not just appear
with a fresh exterior design, but also a new 1200 cc engine based on Daihatsu
Sigra.
Exterior wise, the New Astra Daihatsu Ayla appeared with
new front and rear bumpers. The headlights also get rejuvenation, the design is
identical to his brother in Malaysia, Perodua Axia, make the grill has a new
design as well.
For a 1,000 cc engine, Ayla bumper design was quite
changed a lot compared to the predeccessor. As for Ayla 1200 cc has different
striking bumper and grill looks very aggressive, projector headlights and LED
DRL.
Special for R Deluxe, which is the most expensive
variant, got aerobody-kit in the form of new front and rear bumper design and
more sporty side skirts. The rear spoiler is now packed with LED brake lights.
In the R Deluxe variant, passengers are spoiled by
the new entertainment system with touch screen and audio steering switch. Meanwhile,
the interior panels were also changed so much fresher.
Also, all variants of Ayla got headrests in the back
seat that features three ELR seat belts. All seats also gets a new twist, but
still fabric coated. Even Daihatsu provides this car an immobilizer for safety.
Under the bonnet, The New Ayla now had two engine
options, namely 1000 cc and 1200 cc. Ayla 1000 cc three-cylinder engine exactly
similar to its predecessor, figure out 68 PS at 6,500 rpm and 108 Nm of torque at
4,200 rpm.
Well, for Ayla 1200 cc Dual VVT-i engine has 88 PS
at 6,000 rpm. The torque generated from this four-cylinder engine was at 108 Nm
at 4,200 rpm.
Ayla facelift comes with a choice of six colors,
namely white, black, silver, gray and orange.
