Ahead of its launch in Indonesia today, the 2017
Toyota Agya (facelift) has been spied. The spy shots
offer the first look at the facelifted entry-level hatchback.
The Agya spied is based on the top-end TRD S grade,
which is equipped with smoked projector headlamps with LED pilot lamps, LED
tail lamps, extended front bumper, 14-inch alloy wheels, side skirts, sporty
rear bumper, rear spoiler, rear wiper and power mirrors with integrated
blinkers.
Features shared with the normal variants include
redesigned headlamps connected by a chrome bar housing the logo, Toyota’s
characteristic inverted hexagonal grille layout and new tail lamps.
The Toyota Agya TRD S is likely to be powered by the
bigger 1.2-litre engine sourced from the Toyota Calya that outputs 88 PS and 108 Nm of torque. Other variants continue
with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder VVT-ipetrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual
transmission or 4-speed automatic transmission, which produces 65.3 PS at 6,000
rpm and 88 Nm of torque at 3,600 rpm.
