Toyota Agya facelift has officially launched with
the lowest price of IDR 127 million for type 1.0 E MT. Just like its twin,
Daihatsu Ayla, Agya also had the choice of a new 1.2-liter engine.
Exterior has changed drastically. From the design of
a new projector headlamps, grille and bumper was also changed so much fresher. Also
in the back that is now had LED taillight. Rear bumper also get a change in the
design so it looks sporty as well as an additional reflector.
If previously only had 1-liter three-cylinder
engine, the engine now gets additional VVT-i technology. So Agya 1.0 is claimed
capable of producing 67 PS. And the main menu of Agya 2017 is the same engine
options with Toyota Calya, 1.2-liter Dual VVT-i which produces 88 PS and 108 Nm
torque. Both come with two transmission choices, 5-speed manual and 4-speed
automatic.
The 1,2-liter engine version as the highest trim, only
offered in G and TRD grade. For TRD grade it comes with an aero-kit in the form
of add-on kit at the front and rear bumpers as well as sporty design. The 14
inch wheels design was also different and comes with a combination of two
special colors for 1.2 G and 1.2 TRD grade.
Looking inside, there is no change in the design of
the dashboard. There is only changing pattern of its upholstery fabric. For
passengers in the rear cabin now comes with three headrest as well as the
safety of the three-point safety belt in the back seat.
Immobilizer and alarm also become a standard
security device in all trim. Two airbags as standard all variants and special for
TRD has added the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS).
Also, Double-DIN head unit became standard on variants
1.0 E, 1.2 G and 1.2 TRD. Yet to feature Bluetooth connectivity and audio
controls on the steering wheel in 1.2 TRD and 1.2 G only.
