A new render of the Honda CBR600RR has come up on
Young Machine. The motorcycle had not been updated to meet the Euro 4 emission
norms and thus was expected to be axed.
The Honda CBR600RR has won several world supersport
championship titles and is expected to be loaded with electronics in the next
update. The new CBR600RR, just like its predecessor, can borrow a lot from the
Honda RC213V-S and the similarity in the headlamp cowl of the render is
evident.
The present generation Honda CBR600RR is powered by
a four-cylinder mill producing 120 PS of power and 66 Nm of torque. The current
599 cc liquid cooled, in-line four-cylinder mill is coupled to a 6-speed
gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 120 PS of maximum power at 13,500
rpm and 66 Nm of peak torque at 11,250 rpm. The new Honda CBR600RR, at least in
prototype form may make an appearance at EICMA 2017.
