Ballard Customs has modified a 2011 Hero Karizma to emerge as a cafe racer. Its a built by a hobbyist.
This one though does not look any less striking. The
spartan motorcycle gets a new fuel tank and the brown seat adds to the charm.
The exhaust setup too has been reworked a bit. The alloy wheels are the same
but the tyres are of a higher specification.
The Hero Karizma in stock form is powered by a 223
cc air-cooled, single cylinder mill sourced from Honda. The carburetted engine
is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox and is capable of producing 19.2 bhp of maximum
power at 7,500 rpm and 19.35 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm.
From being a cult motorcycle of the 2000s, the Hero
Karizma is one of the largely forgotten motorcycles in the market. The company
is expected to bring out a new Hero Karizma in the future.
