There have been reports of a Mahindra Jeeto passenger van in the works, but this is the first time we are seeing images of the said model testing on public roads, courtesy of Suraj Suprabhan.

The Mahindra Jeeto passenger van will slot under the Mahindra Supro, and rival the Tata Magic Iris when it goes on sale late this year or early next year. The Jeeto van also has tarpaulin side windows and rear windscreen, while the third-row windows are fixed. The front fascia will look more or less identical to the Jeeto pickup, while the rear-end seems to feature vertical taillamps.

It will source the Jeeto’s single-cylinder water-cooled m_Dura direct injection diesel 625 cc engine capable of 11 hp or 16 hp, and 38 Nm of torque, paired with a 4-speed manual transmission as standard.

It could be available with the same colour options as the pickup truck – Diamond White, Sunrise Red, Ultramarine Blue, Mango Yellow and Premium Beige, and it will be produced at Mahindra’s facility in Zaheerabad, Telangana.
