Mercedes-Benz India has launched the Mercedes
S-Class Connoisseur’s Edition. It’s available in both S 350d
diesel and S 400 petrol, priced at INR 1.21 crores and INR 1.32 crores,
respectively (ex-showroom Delhi).
The S-Class Connoisseur’s Edition gets Night View
Assist Plus, Executive rear seat with thigh support and seat reclination of up
to 43.5 degrees, and the AIR-BALANCE with improved air filtering and perfume
package. The Night View Assist Plus uses two anti-dazzle infrared lamps and a
thermal imaging camera to distinguish between live and inanimate objects at
night, which can be viewed from the Driver’s Display.
The Mercedes S 400 packs a 3.0-litre V6 petrol
engine with 333 hp and 480 Nm of torque, while the S 350d has a 3.0-litre V6
turbodiesel engine with 258 hp and 620 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired
with a 7G-TRONIC Plus 7-speed gearbox as standard.
Some of the standard features in the S-Class line
include ambient lighting with 7 different colours and 5 dimming levels, COMAND
infotainment system, 24-speaker Burmester 3D surround sound system and massage
seats. Safety systems and driving assistance technologies include 8 airbags,
ESP, PRE-SAFE, Dynamic cornering control system, Brake Assist, Adaptive Brake
with HOLD Function, ASR Hill Start Assist, 360 Degree Surround View Camera and
an Active Park Assist.
