The 2017 Maruti Swift Dzire Tour has silently been
launched in India at a starting price of INR 5.24 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) for
the petrol variant, while the Swift Dzire Tour diesel is priced at INR 5.99
Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
The exterior is a stripped-down version of the
outgoing Swift Dzire featuring a black plastic grille and bumper embellishers,
a swept back halogen headlamps, silver steel wheels, body-painted A-pillar and
black ORVM enclosures. The Swift Dzire Tour can be had in white, silver or
black exterior colours.
Inside, it retains the dual-tone beige and black
interior of the regular Swift Dzire with beige fabric upholstery, and wood trim
garnished on the dashboard and door cards. There’s not much in the way of
equipment, but it has an MID and power window controls.
The 2017 Maruti Dzire
Tour can be had with the 1.3 DDiS diesel motor paired with a 5-speed manual
gearbox. Maruti has also added the option of the 1.2L petrol engine for the
first time in the taxi-focused version.
