Royal Enfield has showcased the Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Forest Green at the Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) 2017.
The Royal Enfield Bullet 500 Forest Green uses a
tubular steel frame with the engine as a stressed member. The bike is suspended
over standard 35 mm telescopic forks up front and twin gas charged shock
absorbers with 5-step adjustable preload in the rear. The bike tips the scales
at 187 kg and can store 14.5-litre of fuel.
Brakes include a 280 mm disc with a 2 piston
calliper and a 153 mm drum setup in the rear. The Royal Enfield Bullet 500 in
Thailand gets 19-inch wheels at both ends while the Indian version gets an
18-inch rear unit. Colour options for the Bullet 500 include Forest Green,
Black and Marsh Grey.
Powering the Royal Enfield Bullet 500 is a 499 cc
single cylinder mill coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The fuel injected engine is
capable of producing 27.2 bhp of maximum power at 5,250 rpm and 41.3 Nm of peak
torque at 4,000 rpm.
The Royal Enfield Bullet 500 is priced in Thailand
at THB 179,000.
