Royal Enfield is showcasing the Royal Enfield
Classic 350 Redditch at the 2017 Indonesia International Motor Show that opened
yesterday. The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Redditch is priced at IDR 72.9 million in Indonesia.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Redditch series pays
tribute to Redditch, a needle-making town and the birthplace of the Royal
Enfield motorcycles in the UK. The Redditch variants are finished in special
colours and feature the Royal Enfield Redditch monogram first used in 1939 on
the tank of the prototype 125cc 2-stroke motorcycle, called ‘Royal Baby’.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Redditch measures
2,180 mm in length, 790 mm in width and 1,080 mm in height, and has a wheelbase
of 1,370 mm and a ground clearance of 135 mm. It’s powered by the familiar 346
cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine which produces 19.8 bhp at 5,250 rpm and
28 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm and sends power via a 5-speed transmission. Three
colour choices are available: Redditch Red, Redditch Blue and Redditch Green.
Royal Enfield has so far reserved the Redditch
series to the 350 cc version of the Royal Enfield Classic, but in June this
year, it will launch it in the 500 cc version in the UK.
