The Gujarat-based customiser J&D Custom Co have
started retailing a custom fairing for the Royal Enfield Continental GT. The
kit adds a classic touch to the retro-styled motorcycle.
This bolt on kit is available in GT Red, GT Black,
GT Green and also the now discontinued GT Yellow. All the brackets and bolts
for mounting are included in the package and can be shipped to anywhere in the
country. The Royal Enfield continental GT remains mechanically the same. The
customiser also accept international orders.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT is powered by a 535
cc fuel injected, air-cooled mill coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is
capable of producing 29.1 bhp of maximum power at 5,100 rpm and 44 Nm of peak
torque at 4,000 rpm. The bike tips the scales at 192 kg and has a 13.5-litre
fuel tank. The cafe racer has a minimum ground clearance of 140 mm.
The front suspension uses a 41 mm telescopic forks
with twin gas charged shock absorbers with adjustable preload in the rear
sourced from Paioli. The Royal Enfield Continental GT also gets Pirelli Sport
Demon tyres.
