The Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 has been modified
by the Delhi-based Puranam Designs as a Bobber. The bike continues with the
clean layout of the stock bike and emerges with dollops of extra muscle.
The Royal Enfield Thunderbird ‘Bobber Boa’ by
Puranam Designs gets a glossy black paint scheme with rainbow flakes sprinkled
over it. Tyres include a 130 mm unit up front and a 140 mm unit in the rear
both of which are shod over 15-inch rims.
Other changes include a straight handle bar, bigger
petrol tank, shorter fenders and split seats (removable). The Royal Enfield
Thunderbird 350 gets a taillamp which seems to be inspired from the Bajaj
Avenger. The bike also gets an interesting headlamp with demon eyes and an
extended swingarm.
The stock Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 is powered
by a 346 cc single cylinder, twinspark, air-cooled mill coupled to a 5-speed
gearbox. The bike is capable of producing 19.8 bhp of maximum power at 5,250
rpm and 28 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine is BSIV compliant, and
the bike also gets Auto Headlamp On (AHO).
