The Suzuki GSX-R150 has been modified as a café
racer with minimalistic looks and displayed at the Indonesia International
Motor Show 2017 (IIMS 2017). The bike was modified by Indonesian custom
motorcycle company Insan Motor Bekasi, with 60 percent of the motorcycle’s
parts replaced.
Instantly noticeable is the twin petal discs up
front a short exhaust. The Suzuki GSX-R150 custom café racer also gets a new
seat with a pillion seat cowl. The fairing has been removed and the exposed
powerplant adds a rustic appeal to the bike. The headlamp unit is new and the
circular console gets a LED ring. The radiator gains body coloured guards.
Powering the Suzuki GSX-R150 is the 147.3 cc single
cylinder, water-cooled, DOHC mill. Coupled to a 6-speed gearbox the fuel
injected engine is capable of producing 19.17 PS of maximum power at 10,500 rpm
and 14 Nm of peak torque at 9,000 rpm. The stock bike tips the scales at 131 kg
and has a ground clearance of 160 mm.
