Yamaha Thailand has showcased the Yamaha R15 v3.0 at the 2017 Bangkok International Motor Show. The motorcycle is expected to be launched in late-2017.
The Yamaha R15 v3.0 is suspended over upside down front forks and a link type monoshock in the rear. The bike continues to use a deltabox frame gets a new aluminium swingarm. The bike tips the scales at 137 kg (wet) which is just a kg more than the R15 v2.0. Features include LED headlamps, hazard lamp, assist and slipper clutch, 140 section rear tyre and LED taillamp.


The instrumentation this time is all-digital. The Yamaha R15 v3.0 also gets an assist and slipper clutch. It measures 1,990 mm in length, 725 mm in width and 1,135 mm in height. It gets a wheelbase of 1,325 mm. The bike can store 11-litre of petrol. Yamaha has also provided the motorcycle with a hazard lamp.

The 2017 Yamaha R15 v3.0 is powered by a new 155.1 cc single cylinder; liquid cooled fuel injected VVA mill. The engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox and is capable of producing 19.31 PS of maximum power at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm.

The Yamaha R15 v3.0 is available in three colour options, Racing Blue, Matte Black and Matte Red.
