Option packages for the 2017 Audi Q2 range have been
revealed at the new SUV’s launch in Australia. The five option packages range from AUD 990 to AUD 2500, and focus on various aspects from technology to styling.
First and cheapest of the quintet is the Assistance
package (AUD 990), which brings a number of driver assistance and safety
technologies – though admittedly some of these should be standard. The
sub-AUD 1000 spend adds adaptive cruise control with stop/go function, active lane
assist, side assist (blind spot monitoring), park assist, high-beam assist,
hold assist, and a rollover sensor.
Next is the S Line sport package (AUD 1500) which
brings a plethora of sport-themed enhancements inside and out. These include
10 mm lower sports suspension, front sports seats, Alcantara/leather trim, S
Line flat-bottomed steering wheel in perforated leather with paddle shifters,
black cloth headliner, matt brushed aluminium trim inlays, stainless steel
pedals and footrest, illuminated aluminium door sill trims with ‘S’ emblem,
perforated leather gearshift knob, along 18-inch alloy wheels in five-Y spoke
design.
For AUD 1900 you can have the Comfort package, which
adds a ‘convenience key’ with keyless entry and start, front seat heating,
electric lumbar support, heated exterior mirrors, and extra storage.
Those who want a little more visual appeal can opt
for the AUD 2290 Style package, adding LED headlights with LED daytime-running
lights, LED tail-lights with dynamic indicators, along with 18-inch alloy wheels
in five-arm ‘dynamic’ design.
Finally, the popular Technik package is the most
pricey at AUD 2500. This adds the futuristic Audi Virtual Cockpit 12.3-inch
digital instrument cluster, MMI Navigation plus with touchpad, and a
flat-bottom steering wheel with paddle shifters.
