The 2017 Maruti Dzire has started reaching
dealerships nationwide ahead of its national launch today. The Indianautosblog reader Jobu George has shared images of the 2017 Maruti Dzire in the
top-end, ZDi+ AMT configuration.
The 2017 Maruti Dzire ZDi+ AMT features LED
projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, chrome radiator grille
surround and bumper garnish, 15-inch alloy wheels, chrome window sill,
full-width chrome tailgate applique and tail lamps with LED guide.
Inside, the car features a beige/black colour
theme and has wood trim on the dashboard and the flat-bottomed steering wheel.
Automatic climate control and 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple
CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink are also included in the equipment list.
The 2017 Maruti Dzire ZDi+ AMT is powered by the
1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine that produces 75 hp and 190 Nm of torque. Its fuel
economy rating of 28.40 km/l will make it the most fuel-efficient locally-made
series production car in the country. The diesel model will have the 5-speed
manual transmission as standard, with the AMT as an option.
Maruti Suzuki will offer a petrol model with the
1.2-litre unit producing 84 hp and 115 Nm of torque. This model will also have
a 5-speed manual transmission as standard and an AMT option.
Prices of the 2017 Maruti Dzire will reportedly
start at INR 50k-70k higher than the current model.
