The new Fiat Ducato follows in tests of taxiing by
the mining capital. The prototype was spotted by reader Douglas. The van as we
anticipate days ago will hit the market in October imported from Mexico. The
model will arrive in the short and long options in the passenger and cargo
versions.
The brand continues to use old-fashioned prototypes
for rolling tests. But when the commercial model is launched, it will already
have the lines of the restyled model sold in Mexico. At the front, the model
gained narrower headlights, grille and redesigned bumpers. In the rear, the
Ducato 2018 only won lanterns with new exterior design.
The new Ducato will maintain the same current engine
option, but with changes to meet new pollution control standards. Some power
and torque gain are expected. Currently, the 2.3-liter turbocharger has power
output of 127 hp at 3,600 rpm and torque of 32.6 kgfm at 1,800 rpm.
