Malaysian tuning company ‘TuneD’ has introduced a
range of bodykits and styling packages for the Proton Saga, Proton Persona and
Proton Preve in Malaysia.
The custom
Proton Saga featuring the top-end Premium package, while the less comprehensive
Executive and Standard packages are also available. Prices start from RM 5,000
and the kits now available for booking.
For the Proton Saga, the Standard package comprises
of LED DRLs, a shark fin antenna and four TuneD emblems, while the Executive
package adds leather upholstery, new door trim, inner boot covers, hood
insulation elements, new LED lighting for the headlamps and rear garnish
lights.
The range-topping Premium package further adds push
button start, keyless entry, 16-inch multispoke alloy wheels shod with
high-performance tyres. It also gets a custom Fierce Red exterior colour option
and a blacked-out pillar treatment to offer a ‘floating roof’ look.
No changes have been made under the hood. The Proton
Saga is powered by a 1.3-litre VVT engine from the Proton Iriz, which produces
95 Hp and 120 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual
gearbox or CVT.
