Piaggio has launched the Vespa Elegante
150 Special Edition in the country. The scooter adds to the existing SXL and
VXL range and is limited to two paint schemes: Beige Unico and Pearl White.
The Vespa Elegante 150 special edition gets colour
coordinated twin leather finished seats, tinted fly screen and ‘Elegante’
badges. Other accessories provided with the scooter include a colour
coordinated helmet and all round chrome guard kit along with a front bumper
guard. The scooter rides on 12-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tyres.
The Vespa Elegante 150 is powered by a 150 cc single
cylinder, three valve mill coupled to a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT).
With MAP Sensing and Variable Spark Timing management, the engine is capable of
producing 11.6 PS of maximum power at 7,000 rpm and 11.5 Nm of peak torque at
5,500 rpm.
The Vespa Elegante 150 Special Edition has been
priced at INR 95,077 (ex-showroom, Pune).
