the extensive use of aluminum, notably for the body panels and in the
construction of the engine block, Jaguar produced 12 of these svelte sports
cars, based on the E-Type.

chassis, and in the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1962, although he was forced to
retire from the world’s most famous endurance race due to an accident.
