Yamaha Indonesia has introduced a minor update to
the 150 cc motorcycle, the Yamaha Byson FI. The motorcycle gains new matte
based colour options and redesigned rear view mirrors.
The 2017 Yamaha Byson FI will be available in Matte Red,
Matte Brown and Matte Grey. Body colours Options included Silver Bold, Red Combat and Black Fighter. The rear view mirror now
has a pointed end as seen in the 2017 Yamaha V-Ixion. Yamaha Indonesia also
claims that the motorcycle is more eco-friendly and complies to Euro3 emission
norms.
Powering the 2017 Yamaha Byson is a 149 cc
water-cooled, SOHC mill coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The fuel injected engine
is capable of producing 13.06 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 12.98 Nm of
peak torque at 6,000 rpm. The Yamaha Byson gets a 130/70-17 profile rear tyre.
The 2017 Yamaha Byson tips the scales at 133 kg and
has a 790 mm seat height. The fuel tank can store 12-litre of petrol. Brakes
include a disc in the front and a drum setup in the rear. The ground clearance
is set at 170 mm.
The 2017 Yamaha Byson FI continues to have an
unchanged price tag of IDR 22,950,000 (OTR, Jakarta).
