Bengaluru-based motorcycle customiser, Gear Gear
motorcycles, have customised an MY2001 Bajaj Pulsar as a café racer.
The bare bones stance of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 café
racer is enhanced with a new rear monoshock. The new rear suspension also helps
raise the height of the motorcycle, allowing the bike have a higher seat
height. Both the front and rear wheel hub have been worked on allowing the accommodation
of a fatter tyre profile.
The custom Bajaj Pulsar 150 café racer also gets a
modified chassis. The frame has been chopped off thereby reducing the wheelbase
a bit. The exhaust canister is new while the fuel tank gets a mixture of
decals. The bike also boasts of a handcrafted leather seat and the
instrumentation console is new. The circular rear view mirrors adds a classic
touch.
The 2001 Bajaj Pulsar had a 150 cc single cylinder,
air-cooled mill producing 13 hp of maximum power. It got several premium
features like front disc brake and an optional self-starter.
