For 2014 SEMA Show, which kicks off in just a few
hours, Chevrolet has prepared a series of Corvette Stingray models inspired by
different regions of the U.S. This Corvette Stingray Convertible Atlantic
Concept takes inspiration from the east and west coasts, and it features
sophisticated styling enhancements inspired by a private jet.
The concept is coated in a elegant Blade Silver hue
combined with a Carbon Flash Metallic front splitter, rocker extensions and
rear lower diffuser. The headlamp housings and the hood accents are painted
Fusion Gray, while the interior gets a suede package.
There are also a few other updates to round it all
out, including chrome, five-spoke wheels sized 19-by-8.5 inches in front and
20-by-10 inches out back, a Carbon Flash Metallic rear license-plate holder,
molded splash guards, a behind-the-seats windscreen to reduce turbulence with
the top down ,custom luggage and an embroidered center armrest with the Stingray
logo.
With exception of the sweet color and the pretty
sick rocker extensions, this concept is rather "blah." But it is the
Stingray, so awesomeness is built-in from the factory.
