A new electric pickup has been unveiled and it is
called the Havelaar Bison. This truck claims to be the first of its kind
all-electric truck and was designed and tested in Canada. The truck promises to
be built tough enough for the harsh Canadian weather. It has AWD and advanced
electronic management of vehicle dynamics.
The truck as a carbon fiber reinforced steel space
frame giving it class leading torsional stiffness for better durability and
handling. The truck also has off-road capabilities with 54% hill start and 21%
hill climb at full load. The Bison has dual motors and a touch screen display
on the inside along with driver assistive tech inside.
There are some key bits about the truck that we
don’t know just yet. The most important being driving range, payload, towing,
and pricing information. The images make this seem as if it is a smaller truck
along the lines of the Chevy Colorado.
