Calicut-based Retro Car Restoration has created a comprehensive body kit for the Hyundai Elite i20 which transforms it into a hot hatchback, visually.

The modified i20 features an aggressive front bumper with large air intake and LED DRL strips, black mesh pattern hexagonal grille, projector headlamps with corona rings, wheels that have been spaced out and get custom gunmetal alloy rims as well as low profile tires, side skirts, an aggressive rear bumper with a faux diffuser and dual exhaust tips, as well as a large wing on the roof.


The car is painted in gloss black for a stealth machine look. The interior appears to have red leather seat upholstery. In stock configuration, the Elite i20 can be had with one of three engine options: 84 PS 1.2L Kappa petrol paired with a 5-speed manual, 100 PS 1.4L N/A petrol with a 4-speed automatic, and a 90 PS 1.4L turbodiesel unit paired with a 6-speed manual. Fuel mileage is rated at 19 km/L (1.4 Diesel) and 15 km/L (1.2 Petrol). Prices currently range between INR 5,36,624 – INR 9,09,118 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Hyundai is working on a mid-cycle refresh for the i20 which has been spotted testing in India. It is expected to arrive on the market in early 2018.
