Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Co, Nissan's partner in China has unveiled the facelifted 2017 Nissan X-Trail T32, now updated with a new front fascia and additional safety features.

The updated 2017 Nissan X-Trail T32 receives the company's new V-Motion front grille flanked by a pair of reworked LED headlights with signature LED daytime running lights. The revised front bumper receives a pair of rectangular-shapred front fog lights, replacing the outgoing model's round units. The rear bumper design is also new on the facelifted X-Trail, coupled with the new graphics in the rear light cluster. Towards the side, the biggest change are the new 19-inch alloy wheels.


The facelifted Nissan X-Trail T32 is now available with Intelligent Emergency Braking, Emergency Assist for Pedal Misapplication and Cross Traffic Alert, on top of the outgoing model's Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Intelligent Around View Monitor. Nissan has added Intelligent Cruise Control to the facelifted X-Trail.

Dongfeng Nissan is offering eight variants of the Nissan X-Trail T32 facelift in China. Four variants of the Nissan SUV is powered by Nissan's MR20 2.0-litre petrol engine, while the other four area powered by a larger QR25 2.5-litre petrol engine. All Nissan X-Trail variants feature Nissan's Xtronic CVT, driving the front wheels on the 2.0 models and all four wheels on the 2.5 models.


Priced from RMB 188,800, Dongfeng Nissan expects the updated X-Trail T32 to continue the success of the outgoing model, which broke sales records for three straight years since its initial introduction in 2014.
