Royal Enfield Classic Battle Green, based on the Classic 500, comes to you with a paint scheme reminiscent of the War era, a time when Royal Enfield motorcycles proved their capabilitities and battle worthiness by impeccable service to soldiers. The unit had an odometer reading of 3.2 km and still had some protective plastic wrapping on the rear grab rail. It even had the optional pillion seat attached.

Powering the Royal Enfield Classic Battle Green is a 499 cc single cylinder, air-cooled, fuel injected mill. Coupled to a 5-speed gearbox the engine is capable of producing 27.2 bhp of maximum power at 5,250 rpm and 41.3 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.

The Royal Enfield Classic Battle Green tips the scales at 194 kg and has a 13.5-litre fuel tank, the same as the standard Classic 500 retailed in India. It gets a 19-inch wheel in the front (90/90) and an 18-inch unit (120/80) in the rear. Brakes include a 280 mm disc up front with 2 piston caliper while the rear gets a 153 mm drum setup.

The Royal Enfield Classic is suspended on a 35 mm telescopic fork up front with 130 mm travel and twin gas-charged shock absorbers with 5-step adjustable preload, good for 80 mm of travel, at the rear. An official announcement on the availability of the Royal Enfield Classic 500 Battle Green is awaited.
